John is a resident homeowner and small business owner. John has many of the same concerns as his neighbors and especially when it comes to taxes, rapid growth, and business development. He is currently the incumbent for Fate City Council, Place 2. John was sworn into office in January 2021 after a landslide victory in the December 2020 Run-off election.

Accountability and TRANSPARENCY

John has been dedicated to raising the standard of accountability and transparency within our Local Government and with City Staff. John has been chosen by the other members of Fate City Council to hold the additional title of Deputy Mayor Pro-Tem. In a continuing effort to bridge the gap between the City of Fate and the Rockwall County Apprasials DIstrict, Fate City Leaders and Rockwall County Leaders elected John to sit on the Board of Directors for the RCAD.

Results

In the short time he has been in Place 2 he's successfully co-sponsored an official City discount to all residents on their water bill during a winter freeze. John supports Senior Citizen's discounts, exemptions, or other benefits whenever able. John's record proves his support for Seniors as John has never voted against relief for Seniors. John is dedicated to public safety and supports our DPS and their requests for more Officers, Staff, and equipment as needed. John also advocates for child safety by ensuring the City of Fate secures and maintains the strongest measures possible to keep child predators away from children.
